A Very ‘fake.’ Hallowe’en: submissions DEADline

Well it’s Friday the 13th and although I know some of you’ll be busy getting your Sarah Michelle Gellar on with the release of the much-hyped and most likely equally slow-paced ‘The Grudge 2’ (even the slightly superior Japanese version did precious little to hold my interest despite ‘Tino’s incessant chatter about what a moody piece it was…there’s a fine line between ‘subtle’ and ‘soporific’ ‘Tino…I thought calling it a moody piece was only half right).

Regardless of where you stand on the merits of japanese horror, you need to know this:  you have until midnight tonight (mmmwwwuuuuhahahaha!!!) to get your submissions in for the Hallowe’en Rockin’ The Mike

So far there’ve been some fine submissions (and likewise, some fine trash talk regarding those submissions…see the comments if you don’t believe me) and as it stands now, Alex, Clint, Jennica, and Tino will all be getting a copy of the compilation.

For those who’d like their own copy of the compilation but lack the imagination or the energy to contribute to its creation, in the spirit of Hallowe’en you can make a $5 donation to Unicef  via their website or if you’re in the GTA you can give it to me on their behalf and I’ll make a lump sum donation.

The track list of the compilation will be posted next friday so stay tuned

I cant remember the difference between the grudge, the audition, the eye, dark water and so forth…does that make me a racist?

Tino: I have trouble telling Sarah Michelle Gellar and Jennifer Connolly apart too. Don’t beat yourself up about it.

So, FK, what is going on with this DISC? What’s on it, ‘n’ all that?

Sorry for the delay boys and girls, i’m happy to report though that the disc is done and dusted and will be posted by monday evening along with some engaging words from your humble narrator.
